Reflecting Upon Celebration
I started SNL in 1999. I came to DePaul University expending a “normal” learning experience, but I was wrong! The School for New Learning had my name all over it, and I was so motivated by the prospect of eventually having a full-fledged Bachelors Degree in my hands. The idea of being able to learn [...]
Advanced Project
One of the requirements for Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree through DePaul University’s School for New Learning is to write an extensive research paper and provide an artifact that shows competence of your chosen focus area. My focus area is User Experience Design.
That being said, I am pleased to offer up the final paper for [...]

User Testing Analytics
I’ve been slowly going through all of the Analytics from the User Testing completed on Usabilla. Good stuff. Going Mobile
Today I wrapped up the initial screen design for the site. The CSS and HTML has been validated successfully as XHTML 1.0 Transitional. It has been tested in the following browsers:
Chrome 3.0 – Windows XP
Firefox 2.0 – OS X, Windows XP
Firefox 3.0 – OS X, Windows XP
Firefox 3.5 – OS X, Windows XP, Windows Vista

Its coming together…
… slowly, but surely. I have found some challenges in working with Thematic as the base code. The way they set up their functions within Wordpress gets to be a little tricky for those of us who aren’t totally programmer orientated, but I was able to find some help on the Themeshaper Forums to isolate [...]
Redesigning Souldanse – Photoshop Day 2
Got a little bit farther with my mock-up in Photoshop today. Working with the delicately patterned background is really making it challenging to keep the site simple and clean.
Spent the earlier part of the evening setting up some of the initial widgets and re-organizing some of my Wordpress Content to accommodate how I will set [...]
